This privacy statement applies to all privacy-sensitive information or personal data you provide to us, for example through a registration form, contact form or orders you place. We attach great importance to the privacy of our customers and therefore take the utmost care in handling and protecting personal data. We process data in accordance with the conditions imposed on it in the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG). The data processor is the data controller within the meaning of the AVG with respect to the processing of your personal data. This means that only we determine which personal data are processed, for what purpose and in what manner. We are responsible for ensuring that your personal data is processed properly and carefully in accordance with the AVG. In this privacy statement, we explain what data we process and for what purposes it is used.
Below is an overview of the personal data we may process:
By agreeing to this privacy statement, you expressly consent within the meaning of Article 6(1)(a) of the AVG to the processing of your personal data for the purposes listed below. You may withdraw this consent at any time. However, if you do not provide certain information to us or have it processed by us, we may not be able to serve you properly.
If you have not given us explicit consent to process your personal data or have withdrawn such consent, the processing of your personal data may be subject to Articles 6(1)(b), (c) and/or (f) of the AVG. Processing of your personal data may in that case take place without your consent, provided that it is necessary for the performance of an agreement to which you are a party, or is necessary for the protection of BbyB’s legitimate interests. In addition, we may be under a legal obligation to process your personal data.
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
We do not retain your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes for which your data is collected.
We may share your personal data with third parties if it is compatible with the purposes listed above. Disclosure to third parties may be necessary for the performance of the agreement we enter into with you, necessary to pursue a legitimate interest of ours, or necessary to comply with any legal obligation incumbent upon us. With companies that process your data on our behalf, we enter into a processor agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. We remain responsible for these processing operations. Other than the foregoing situations, we only provide your personal data to other third parties with your express consent.
We may use your personal data for commercial purposes, for example, to provide you with further information about our services or relevant products or services from carefully selected organizations. You will be notified in that case only at the e-mail address you registered. If you do not wish to receive information about relevant products or services, you can easily indicate this by clicking “unsubscribe” in the received email.
Your personal data is also used by us for market research and the optimization of our services. In this context, your personal data will be anonymized and thus no longer traceable to you.
Your information will not be sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes unless you give your express consent.
